Historians (Wikipedia) estimate that candles have been around since approximately 200 B.C. And before they became luxury home accents, candles were simple goods made with real ingredients, by real people.
That’s where Yankee Candle comes in. From its humble beginnings in small town Massachusetts, Yankee Candle has grown into the largest candle manufacturer in the United States. But you don’t get that far without paying homage to your roots, and without recognizing that some things are just better made the old-fashioned way.
In this script, Amos, an original Yankee Candle candlemaker, travels around the world to capture the newest scents the old world way.

Like I said, candles are pretty old. They’ve (literally) given light to revolutionary thinkers, inventors and world leaders for thousands of years.
So, this option highlights the role of Yankee Candle throughout history. For example, everyone knows the story of Paul Revere’s midnight ride – but what most people don’t know is that he almost missed his cue thanks to a delicious smelling Yankee Candle…

Remember, light one if by land and two if by sea.
PAUL:
Well, that’s a good system, actually.
PAUL:
(Paul takes a big sniff of the candle)
Mmm – is that jasmine? With hints of…grapefruit?
AMOS:
I also have Seaside Woods and Tahitian Nights.
PAUL:
Mmmm…
(gunshots fly through the windows around them)
I'd better go.
AMOS:
Yes! Stick with the jasmine!
